Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use it and to measure our advertising. These include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel, and the session analytics tool Hotjar, which records how pages are used (for example clicks, scrolling and page visits).

The Meta Pixel tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages of our site were visited and when someone taps to contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, so that we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful. When you send us an enquiry, our server also tells Meta that an enquiry was made, using Meta's Conversions API. Your email address and phone number are sent only in hashed (scrambled) form, together with technical details such as your IP address and browser. If you later become a customer, we may also tell Meta in the same hashed form that your enquiry progressed, so that our ads reach similar businesses. If you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta shares the details you entered with us.

When you arrive from one of our ads, we store the ad click identifier with any enquiry you send us, and we may share it back with Google so that we can see which ads lead to genuine enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings, and control how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

AI Chat and Phone Assistant

The chat assistant on our website and calls to our assistant line (080 3508 8814) are answered by an automated AI assistant. What you type or say is processed by our AI service providers to understand your question and generate a reply. Phone calls are transcribed and may be recorded where enabled.

We keep chat and call transcripts, together with any contact details you share, so that our team can follow up on your enquiry. Please do not share sensitive personal information in chat or on calls. You can ask to speak to a person at any time.

5

WhatsApp Communication

If you contact us through WhatsApp, we may use your phone number and message history to respond to your enquiry, provide support, and send important service-related updates. We do not sell your WhatsApp information to third parties.

6

Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers only when required to operate our services, such as hosting, analytics, communication, payment, or customer support tools.

These providers include cloud hosting, Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads measurement), Hotjar (website analytics), Anthropic and Sarvam AI (AI chat, speech recognition and voice), Plivo and Twilio (calls and SMS), Brevo (email), Meta (WhatsApp Business) and Calendly (meeting booking). Some of these providers may process information outside India.

7

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration.

8

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, meet business needs, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

9

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. See our Data Deletion Instructions for the deletion process.

If you are in India, you also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to withdraw consent, to have your data corrected or erased, and to raise a grievance. To exercise these rights or to raise a grievance, email info@edupotion.com with the subject "Privacy grievance".
